Hi everyone! I’m finally sharing my first fashion blog post for VADA:K! I thought I would start by sharing my ultimate party look and hopefully it gives you some outfit inspiration for the bank holiday weekend. Juggling between working in the boutique and managing the online shop isn’t easy, so by the time the weekend comes, nothing beats getting dressed up and letting the hair down for a Saturday night out. Life then slaps me in the face when I come home from work, tired and like 99% of us, I look in the wardrobe and say, “I’ve nothing to wear!”. To combat this life or death situation, I’ve come up with simple tips on pulling together the perfect outfit. Follow these tips and you’ll be at the bar with a cocktail in your hand sooner than you think.
1. See the dress, buy the dress
A good party dress is easy to wear. That one piece of clothing is all you need and the best base to build your outfit around. A bit of bling and sparkle also takes you a long way. I try to not wait until a night out to buy something. I like picking pieces up over time, so when I need something last minute there’s usually something hiding in the wardrobe that finally has its moment to shine. Just like this champagne sequin dress! I absolutely love this dress. It ticks all the boxes for a party dress; it’s sexy, low plunge neckline, and sequins. What more could you want?

2. Simple accessories = less stress
If you’re outfit is doing all the talking, like my sequin dress is, it’s best to leave it as a ‘less is more’ outfit. Simple accessories means less time stressing over what to put with what. I picked these cute rose gold bracelets from Hanratty Jewellers, Crossmaglen. They go with almost anything and are just enough sparkle!
3. The Investment Pieces
Every wardrobe should have a pair of reliable high heels. Whether they’re high street or designer, you can’t go wrong with a classic nude heel. They will go with absolutely everything and will become your go-to shoe. I had been searching for the perfect nude shoe and nothing beats Christian Louboutin. Death by shoe but they look so good! I have another blog post coming up in regards to Christian Louboutin, so if you’re thinking of purchasing a pair, do give it a read!
A timeless handbag is your final touch. Again, it’s back to the classics. A leather black slim handbag that will hold just enough essentials; lippy, cash, phone. A petite handbag keeps all eyes on your dress, although harder to find at 4am!
I really hope you liked my first fashion post and they’ve given you some party style inspiration! I have added links to my outfit and you can shop more of our party dresses here. Happy Shopping!
